The lively Albert’s Didsbury

Last month, fellow bloggers of the WeBlogNorth community and I got together at Albert’s in Didsbury. The team at Albert’s had invited us to some the menu’s new additions, and as a lover of food and drink I was delighted for an invite.

Albert’s Didsbury is a lively restaurant.

It has a beautiful modern décor, and an extensive cocktail list – for me, it ticks all of the boxes.

We were blessed with the weather, so sat on a lovely table outside and enjoyed our first cocktail of the night – a beautifully presented rose liquor, prosecco and lavender.

Then came a great mix of nibbles – from olives, a vegan platter, hummus, calamari, halloumi, prawns. The selection was incredible, really nice and light, absolutely perfect for sharing food.

After the starters were demolished, the lovely team at Alberts, Didsbury had more goodies for us to sample – pizza! We had a really good mix of vegan, vegetarian and meat pizzas. I’m very much a meat-eater but having tried the vegan pizza, I was pleasantly surprised.

What I loved most

The food, the drinks and the décor were incredible, but I have to hand it to the customer service too. They went out of their way to ensure those in our group with dietary requirements were looked after.

Check it out for yourself at 120-122 Barlow Moor Rd, Manchester M20 2PU.
